Scratch Kitchen. Storybook Brewery.

Opened in 2021 Shadow Grove Brewing has won 10 medals across 8 beer styles since 2023. At Where the Creatures Sleep, founders Ron and Tom serve those beers with a full scratch kitchen inside a North Hollywood taproom covered in the creatures that give each beer its name.

House-Ground Burgers. Shadow Grove Beer.

Brisket and chuck are ground in-house, pressed on the griddle and served with fries cut in the kitchen. Order the Bacon & Cheese burger with a Shadow Grove pour, or pass around fried Oyster Mushrooms with vegan Calabrian chili mayo while you work through a flight.

Good Food. Good Beer. Good People.

A Great Night Out

Slide into the bar and start with a flight. Find the creature you want another glass of, order a burger and pass the Cauliflower Fritto around the table. The lights stay low while dinner turns into another round.

Trivia, Darts, Your Usual

Claim your table for trivia, take your turn at the dartboard and order the Shadow Grove beer you know by name. Bring your team this week and come back for another game next week.

Bring your birthday, team outing, reunion or whole friend group into the taproom. Put house beer and scratch-kitchen food on the table, add the games and let the team handle the details while you spend the night with your guests.
